Isaiah Jae 36 Months!

My baby is 3! THREE! How on earth Isaiah is 3 already baffles me! I have such a hard time with my kids birthdays, because they always just seem to fly by. Yet each year with this little guy gets better and better, and I can't wait to see who he becomes as he grows up! We love you to the moon and back Isaiah Jae! You are our grand finale, our cherry on top, the completion to our family!

36 Month Highlights:

 -You guys are 2 peas in a pod

-Zoo day! Daddy stayed home with Bella who was sick with a bad cold

-Fun day at the park

-We went to the Van Gogh immersive experience in the city and it was amazing! Everyone loved it. And it wore you out...you slept the entire car ride home!

-One of your favorite things ... water table

-And your other most favorite thing....tablet!

-And all things with wheels!

-VBS! You LOVED it!!

-Bella's 7th birthday

-Summer popsicle fun

-Lefma summer night party

-Goofy boy with his goggles

-Exploring in the yard

-Sno-cones for dinner for your 3rd birthday!

-For your birthday party we went to Victoria Beach to swim and play. Despite tornado like winds interrupting our barbeque lunch, the rain blew over in about 10 minutes and we finished out the party camping style with Tia's pop up tent. 

Sleeping: You are a great sleeper and a joy at naptime. I tell you time for last snack and nap and you bounce right into the pantry, ask to take the snack up to eat on your bedroom floor, and head right on up! Bedtime is around 7:30, and some nights you fall asleep right away, and other nights you just play quietly in bed until 8:30. You wake up sometime between 6:30 and 7:15 most days, and you shout out to us that you have to poop, which we help you with, and then you proceed to play in your room until we come back and get you (usually around 7:30).  

Eating: No new changes this month. Big eater, picky at times but getting so much better at trying new things and at least taking 1 bite of each thing on your plate before you say "I no like it" : )  

Isaiah Loves:

-Music, singing, dancing
-Cars, trucks, monster trucks, trains
-Construction equipment - it's so cute to hear him say "Look Mama, a Bobby Cat!"
-Taking baths
-Coloring
-Reading ALL the books!
-Counting, pretending he knows letters, and telling me the colors of all the objects
-Building things
-Throwing balls (and any object really!)
-Watching tv, tablet, my phone, whatever electronic he can get his hands on
-Paw Patrol, PJ Masks, Blippi

Isaiah Hates:
-Being told no
-Having to stop doing what he wants to do

 36 Month Stats:

 Height: 37 in (about 35th percentile)

Weight: 27 lb 3 oz (between 5 and 10th percentile)

Wearing 2T clothes mostly, but starting to ease into some 3T things. Still size 4 diapers with sleep. Size 6 shoes.

35 Month Highlights:

-Fun at Mimi school with your besties and the water table

-Library time

-We found a cute new snow cone place! YUM!

-Gibbs Gardens...you were a champion hiker!

-Yummy food truck lunch after Gibbs

 -playground fun

-"summer school" reading and picnic

-you and aubs got a stomach bug/weird virus but thankfully you bounced back within a day!

Sleeping: You truly are a great sleeper and napper! You love going to bed when you are supposed to which makes *most* bedtimes a joy! Bedtime is around 7:30, but you often don't fall asleep til 8, sometimes 8:30. You wake up around 7 am these days.

Nap is around 1:30 or 2 pm and you sleep anywhere from 1-2 hours. You've been waking up crying the last 2 weeks intermittently, and I can't tell if you are hangry, waking up from bad dreams, or what!

 Eating: No big changes. "I no like this" is a popular phrase from you, but you've gotten MUCH better at accepting you still have to try it! Thankfully, you've learned to love green beans this month from all the trying! 

Isaiah Loves:

-Car, trucks, trains, anything with wheels
-Singing, dancing
-Reading books
-Playing with "Austee" and "Emma"
-Running around outside
-Taking baths
-Water table
-Helping Mama pick strawberries in the garden
-Tablet, TV

 -Discipline : ) Being told no.

35 Month Stats:

Height: 36 in

Weight: 26 lb 14 oz

*Wearing 2 T clothes, size 5.5 or 6 shoe, and size 4 diapers with sleep. 

*All 4 two year molars have popped through and are still working there way to being all the way out
